We work with Sophos on a very regular basis and on this occasion they asked us to film their Catch the Wave tour: a tour of all their partner organisations across the UK. The brief was to create a short video that summarised the messaging and also the fun elements of the day. They wanted to send this out through the use of an email campaign after the tour had ended.
The theme of the tour was Catch the Wave: picture Hawaiian shirts, a wave machine, beach balls and BBQs so it was a fun but hectic event to capture.
On site we needed to work closely with the outsourced production team who were managing the tour bus, as well as the marketing management team for Sophos. It was important to convey the serious side of the event as well as recording burger eating and tumbles from the wave machine.
We also recorded a number of stakeholders on the day, putting them at ease and using our interviewing skills so no questions were left unanswered.
This was a fun project to organise and create; the music in particular brings the video to life and the client was extremely happy with the results.
We also wrote the email campaigns for the client, and not long after the events were recorded they were able to send out the follow up email, with a link to the video, a link to Sophos Cloud (a tour focus area) and a thank you message.
This event was great fun and a pleasure to be a part of. We’re pleased with the way we were able to connect with Sophos clients and blend into the background when necessary.
The client was more than satisfied with the results and has continued to engage with us regularly ever since.
